Initial Conversation
A Friendly and Informal Chat with a Member of The Management Team
During these telephone conversations, we will run through a few basic requirements with you. We will also want to discuss your availability and the hours you’re looking for. So, it’s a good idea to think about this before applying. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask us some important questions too.
Application Form Complete
A Straightforward Application Form
After chatting on the phone, if suitable, we will either forward you an application form to complete or arrange for a suitable time for you to come into our office to complete an application form. This part of the process usually takes 20-30 minutes. In addition to this, we will also arrange for a psychometric quiz to be completed
Interview
A Chance to Shine
Our interviews usually last between 45-60 minutes. We try to keep the interview ss as informal as possible to make you feel relaxed at the time. Treat this as an opportunity to showcase your best qualities and demonstrate why you’d be a great fit for the job. Equally, don’t hesitate to bring some questions with you.
Pre-employment Checks
Routine Safety Checks
If successful after the interview, we will arrange a suitable time to run through our pre=emplyment checks. These checks can be done over the phone and usually take 20-40 minutes. We will submit a DBS check on your behalf as well as confirming your references before they are sent.
Training
A Chance to Learn & Develop
After submitting all the appropriate pre-employment checks, we will then invite you to partake in one of our 3 d-day training inductions in our office. The induction covers all the basics, perfect for those that have never done the job before. After the induction, if all your pre-employment checks are complete, we will then arrange for you to do 2-weeks worth of shadowing whereby we pair you up with an experienced member of the team to go out into the community.
