Receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating is a reflection of our hard work
Our Urmston based care office is committed to delivering expert home care and support services within the Trafford community. In January 23rd, 2018, we undertook our regular inspection. The inspection ensures that providers of care are meeting legal requirements and regulation. The CQC also inspect the quality of the service provided and award the service with an official rating.
The core focus of the CQC report is to assess the care providers need to:
- Provide a Safe service
- Offer a service that is Effective
- Have a service that is Caring
- Deliver a service that is Responsive
- Provide a Well-lead service
Our CQC inspection and rating reflect the commitment, dedication, and teamwork of all who work in the business.
Managing Director, Mark Collier, launched Heritage Healthcare Trafford in June 2015. Joining a franchise that operates nationally made us grow as caregivers and specialists in elderly care. On the 1st January 2020, we left that franchise and started trading under our new name, Beloved Homecare. Mark’s motivation to start his own homecare company came from experiencing the poor standards of care available within his local community. Mark felt that the level of service provided to his Mum and Dad who suffered from Alzheimer’s did not meet his parents’ needs. Mark partnered up with members of his family to start an award-winning company dedicated to the needs of their clients and local community. As a result of their hard work, they have built an outstanding reputation and were recently named a Top 10 Homecare Provider in the North West (2019) by Homecare.co.uk.
Our Care Quality Commission Inspection and Rating reflect the commitment, dedication, and teamwork of all who work in the Business.
It is a testament to everybody’s hard work. Our aim has always been to be the best care provider in Trafford and to assist and to do our bit to make the twilight years of our clients as pleasurable as possible, whilst at the same time alleviating the worry and stress on families.
Going the extra mile for our clients
“We saw the lengths the company went to in ensuring that people and carers were well matched, shared the same interests in life or had similar personality traits.” Our company policy was appreciated and praised by people receiving a service and their relatives. Feedback from people and their relatives in relation to this had been left on the independent website Homecare.co.uk. Reviews included the following comments, “Beloved is a breath of fresh air to the caring profession. Unlike some other agencies, they are proactive in suggesting venues and opportunities to ‘entertain’ [relative]. They understand their needs and personality type and match supporters accordingly. They exceed our expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending them”; and, “Beloved, work based on carefully matching the care worker to the client’s needs and personality. In our case, this has been a real success and has opened a wider variety of social, personal and friendship opportunities which were hitherto lacking in [person’s] life.”
We’re passionate about making a difference to people’s lives
In the report, the CQC inspector stated the staff members they met during the 3-day inspection were ‘all motivated and clearly passionate about making a difference to people’s lives. The inspector commented on their high-quality training carer participate in and highlighted what one care client stated. The client said: “They are very much so [trained and skilled]; they go that extra mile. They shower and shave me with dignity and respect. I could not wish for anything more than I get.”
Beloved Homecare was reported ‘Outstanding’ in three aspects of their CQC inspection, leading to the overall rating. The inspector acknowledged the proactive support and appraisal system used by members of staff. This helped recognise the continuous development of their skills, competence, and knowledge in providing high-quality care.
